Selection Guide
Compare ITC Connectors for Your Wiring Layout
Wire Range & Conductor
- Match both minimum and maximum wire sizes to the exact specification.
- Verify copper or aluminum suitability for each conductor.
- Wire range and voltage rating do not establish load-current capacity.
Ports & Entry Layout
- ITC-101 inline versions connect wires entering from opposite ends.
- ITC-102, ITC-103 and ITC-104 versions use single-sided entry; D versions offer dual-sided access.
- Choose 2, 3 or 4 ports to suit the routing and number of connections.
Fastening & Installation
- Set-screw connections use model-specific hex or slotted tool sizes.
- Pre-insulated bodies and port plugs cover the connection areas.
- Allow cable-bend and tool clearance; request strip-length and torque instructions.
Specification note: Confirm the current drawing and installation requirements for the complete ordering code. Pre-insulation alone does not establish a waterproof rating.
Applications
Typical Pre-Insulated Connector Applications
Use the required conductor range, connection layout and installed protection for each assembly.
Control & Distribution Cabinets
Organize conductor joints and taps within electrical panels, with the specified voltage rating and installation clearances.
Equipment Wiring Assemblies
Select an entry direction and port layout that fits the equipment harness and leaves access for tightening and service.
OEM & Replacement Sourcing
Match the full ordering code, conductor sizes and mechanical drawing for repeat assembly or a like-for-like replacement.

For a Project Enquiry
Send the model, wire sizes, conductor materials and quantity.
Send Project DetailsInline splice versions receive wires from opposite ends. Single-sided versions route the entries to one side, while dual-sided versions provide access from either side. Compare the drawing and permitted conductor count; extra openings do not automatically mean extra wire capacity.
Use the minimum and maximum conductor sizes specified for the exact ordering code. Also confirm permitted conductor construction. If the product title and specification table conflict, request the current specification rather than selecting from the model suffix alone.
The published ITC specifications include copper and aluminum conductor compatibility. Confirm the allowed materials and combinations for the quoted model, along with conductor preparation and tightening instructions. Connector body material is a separate specification.
No. The insulation coating and port plugs cover connection areas, but do not by themselves establish an IP rating or approval for wet locations. Specify the exposure conditions and use a suitable enclosure or a documented protected assembly.
Send the part number, wire sizes and conductor materials, required port count and entry layout, system voltage, expected load current and quantity. Include a drawing and any required compliance documents so the exact version can be reviewed.
