What are Micro switches?

Microswitches, also known as snap switches, are operated by using spring-loaded levers to open and close the two internal coordinates inside the device. Micro switches are inexpensive parts that can function for a very long time. And some of the parts can withstand more than 10 million cycles before they break down. How does the micro switch work?

The power supply is usually connected to a common terminal, which leads to the switch and supplies power to the spring. Rocker switches are a means to open and close a circuit. In this case, the switch involves a piece that “rocks” back and forth in order to do this.

Overload Protector

Overload protector are a type of switch designed to disrupt electrical current when an overload or short occurs. The overload protector carried at Daier are primarily automotive circuit breaker options, but can also be used in a variety of other electrical applications requiring circuit protection. Most DC circuit breaker options are thermally controlled, meaning during an over current condition, the additional current will cause excess heat to build up in the circuit breaker. With this excess heat, the breaker will trip, making it an essential safety component providing thermal overload protection to diverse applications including, marine, automotive, ambulance, fire equipment, portable generators, and other electrical applications. Available in Type 1 automatic reset, Type 2 modified reset and Type 3 manual reset, Daier has the largest selection of circuit breakers for your 12V electrical needs.
