Panel Mounting

Threaded bodies and retaining nuts are shown on metal and chrome-finish styles.

Is the LED Diameter the Same as the Panel Cutout?

No. The listed 3, 5, 8, 10 or 12 mm size describes the LED fit within a particular holder family. The holder body and retaining features determine the panel opening. Use the dimensional drawing for the cutout, panel thickness and rear clearance.

How Do Brass and Plastic Holders Differ?

The catalog lists brass holders, black plastic holders and plastic holders with a chrome finish. A bright metallic appearance therefore does not always mean a metal body. Specify the body material separately from the visible bezel finish.

Are LEDs Included with the Holder?

Product photos show holders with LEDs, but the required supply contents should be stated in the enquiry. Specify holder-only hardware or a holder-and-LED assembly. For an assembly, also provide the LED color and electrical requirements; the mechanical holder size does not define an operating voltage.

Will Holders for the Same LED Size Fit the Same Panel?

Not necessarily. Threaded bodies, retaining nuts and plastic retaining features can require different panel dimensions and assembly access. Match the body diameter, panel thickness allowance and bezel profile to the installation drawing.

Can You Help Match an Existing Panel Holder?

Send front and rear photos, the LED diameter, panel opening and panel thickness, together with the required quantity. A drawing or sample dimensions help narrow the options. You can describe the installation without knowing a model number.
