QSABC-APC 4 Types Add-a-Circuit Fuse Tap Fuse Holder
Part#QSABC-APC
The QSABC-APC fuse tap plugs into an occupied or vacant slot in a vehicle fuse block and adds a new fused circuit for 12-24V DC systems rated 2A to 35A, with no splicing or cutting of the original wiring. Four fuse types are available (Standard, Mini, Low Profile Mini and Micro2) so the same part fits most cars, trucks, SUVs, ATVs, UTVs, campers, motorcycles, boats and snowmobiles, and it is a common choice for hardwiring dash cams, LED strips and other 12V accessories.

What Is a Fuse Tap and How Does It Work?
A fuse tap is a piggy back fuse holder. It plugs into an occupied or vacant energized slot in the vehicle fuse block and provides two slots: one keeps the original fuse in circuit, the other feeds the new circuit through a 16 AWG lead. Because the power is taken from the existing fuse block, the installation needs no splicing and no cutting.
The blue flexible socket tail connects directly to naked wires, and the holder can be fitted with a vise. The dual-slot design protects the original circuit and the added circuit separately, and the housing is built for flexibility, heat resistance and stable electrical conductivity.
Fuse Tap Applications
Suitable for automotive and non-automotive use: cars, trucks, SUVs, ATVs, UTVs, campers, motorcycles, boats and snowmobiles. Typical jobs include hardwiring dash cams, LED strips and other electronic devices that need a direct wired connection.

Fuse Tap FAQ
▸ What is a fuse tap used for?
A fuse tap adds an extra fused circuit to a vehicle fuse box. It is used for hardwiring dash cams, LED strips, radios and other 12V accessories without cutting into the original wiring.
▸ Which fuse types does the QSABC-APC fit?
Four types are available in one series: Standard (APR/ATC/ATO/ATS), Mini (APM/ATM), Low Profile Mini (APS/ATT) and Micro2 (APT/ATR) fuses.
▸ What voltage and current is it rated for?
Input voltage is 12V-24V DC and the current rating is 2A to 35A.
▸ What cable size does the fuse tap use?
The lead is 16 AWG.
▸ How is the fuse tap installed?
Plug it into an occupied or vacant energized slot in the fuse block: no splicing and no cutting. The flexible socket tail connects to the naked wire of the new device.
▸ Can the same fuse tap be used on a boat or RV?
Yes. Besides cars, trucks and SUVs, it is suitable for ATVs, UTVs, campers, motorcycles, boats and snowmobiles, and for non-automotive 12-24V DC applications.
▸ Can I get samples or custom specifications?
