Anti-Vandal Switch

Anti-vandal switch is a category of push button switch, usually referring to metal push button switch (the actuator and housing are made of metal). Metal switches are hard-wearing and ideal for devices which require repetitive/high usage, such as pedestrian crossings, coffee machines, lifts, access control systems, and even push-to-start button engine in cars.

In addition to the difference in appearance, another difference is that anti-vandal switches are all waterproof, IP65, IP67 or IP68, and anti-vandal switches with a long life of 50,000 cycles.

Daier Electron Co., Ltd has a range of options to help customers find the correct metal push button switch for your design: Our metal switches’ cut-out mounting diameters include 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, 19mm, 22mm, 25mm, 30mm, and 40mm.

LED Options: LED illumination of ring, dot, power logo, or custom symbols with single color, bi-color or RGB triple color. Alternatively, all metal push button switches are available without LED illuminated.

Switch Function: Momentary or Latching (alternate) for your selection. Momentary means the actuator of the switch returns immediately when releasing the finger after pressed. Latching metal push button switch means that when it is first pressed, the central part of the switch stays down (latched) and requires to be pressed again to return to its normal state.
