Choosing a Switch Guard or Cover
Start with the switch you need to protect, then compare these three items. A flip guard and a protective cover serve different purposes.
Switch Fit & Dimensions
Push button covers are listed for 16, 19, 22 and 25 mm switches. Rocker covers include round, square, rectangular and oval shapes. Match the switch drawing, actuator height and surrounding clearance; toggle boots also require the correct thread fit.
Mounting & Operation
The toggle flip guard is secured beneath the switch nut; rubber toggle boots screw onto the switch mounting thread. Check how the selected cover attaches and confirm that the actuator can complete its travel after installation.
